Hamilton at Gold Coast Transmissions in Davie went above and beyond to repair my car and I will be forever grateful. Thank you!!
All businesses have there share of problems and Gold Coast had a lot of issues working on our truck.
It took much longer than any one expected because of one problem or another. After picking up the truck a few times and having to return it and Vinnie trying to repair the problems and get it back to us quite a few months went by and most shops would have walked away and left the customer hanging.
I know after several months of tracing the transmission problem that this truck ended up with Gold Coast did not make a dime on this job , matter of fact I know they lost money but so did I being out a hauler for several months.
But being honest to his word and business practice Vinny and Gold Coast got the truck working great and its back on the road making money.
He has earned our respect and all of our future business, any one we know with a transmission problem we will make sure to send his way.

Tengo un Nissan Frontier 2006, Quiero expresar mi experiencia satisfactoria cuando decidi y escogi entre varios talleres de Transmision reparar mi vehiculo, Mi testimonio es real, y quiero compartir con las personas que tengan un problema con su vehiculo, desde la primera vez que llegue al taller me recibieron con un saludo amable de todo el personal las instalaciones limpias y ordenadas eso me llamo la atencion. Despues de eso Hamilton escucho mi problema con el vehiculo fue muy claro en su explicacion me explico claramente el proceso, Eso me dio la confianza para dejar mi vehiculo en manos de ellos, Me dieron un estimado claro y bien explicado, el tiempo de reparacion fue un poco menos a lo que me habian presupestado eso me parecio excellente. I must say that after dealing with tons of mechanics for my 2002 Ford E2 50, I will never take my truck anywhere but Gold Coast transmissions! Vinny and the receptionist women along with the amazing mechanics in the back that actually worked on my vehicle are amazing! They are very responsive and no matter how busy they are in the back they always take the time to answer my phone calls and give me an update. Although they do not work Friday Saturday or Sunday with all the issues I had in my truck they worked very diligently and cleaned up the disastrous repairs that other mechanics spent hours to destroy whether it was my transmission engine or other parts
I highly recommend this place especially if you have an older vehicle or if you have had mechanics give you the runaround's. I always tell everybody to focus on reviews and quality of a company versus monetary cost because you cannot Focus on cost versus quality. These people are amazing and I will be recommending them to everybody I know!!

Customer service where they listen and they actually care about their customers. I had a seal leaking on my trans and they were very upfront about the costs. I ended up having them rebuild my trans and it hasnt shifted this good since it was new 208,000 miles ago. They were quick and even went a extra mile to fixed another leak i was aware of without charging me. They are now my first go to repair shop and my first recommendation when asked if i know anyone.

Pleasant, fair and honest experience of being treated as a customer while at the Davie shop for a test drive on my 2001 Corolla and while on the phone the followed days for other concerns. Hamilton's attentiveness and expertise helped me to walk through and diagnose and better determine if the issue at hand requires repair or not. Although they are in business to make a living, I positively felt that Gold Coast will not offer or push to get your transmission repaired unless necessary. I have a 04 Titan with a slide in camper approximately 2200lbs. Also tow a pontoon boat. My trans would heat up going uphill or at Highway speeds. Put an extra trans radiator and an oversized fluid pan with no good results. Having GC rebuild my trans was a great decision. I took my rig up to Tomoka State park on dirt roads, camp sits and highway driving. I’m very, very happy.
Have been going to the Ft Lauderdale location for a few years. They have worked on my two Lexus.
Always great service, fair prices, unlike the dealer that charges to look at your car, Gold Coast doesn't charge. Vinnie and everybody is fantastic. I really enjoy going there. Highly recommend to everyone.
we own a 2014 dodge grand caravan, and start with transmission issues with no a lot of miles, living in Miami we have several option to fix it, everybody here offer a good price with only 1 year of warranty, when we call gold coast and spoke with Vincent, he offers a free estimate, 2 year of warranty, free towing from Miami to fort Lauderdale , and all of that for the about the same price of the other places here, he even fallow up with us to see how the car is doing and schedule a free check up at 500 miles, they also check our other car for free, very happy with the job and highly recommended.
I went to the Davie location on state rd 84. Hamilton and the staff there are very professional and knowledgeable. They find the problem and get straight to the solution quickly. My car runs great and have no complaints. This shop doesn’t try to cheat you out of your money and if they are not able to do anything required, they give great references. I would recommend anyone needing transmission work to go there. They are truly the best!!!
Hamilton & the Gold Coast team is the absolute best in the business. The service we received was incredible! He sent a tow truck to collect our Ford Excursion and replaced our Transmission all in the matter of 3 days! Then he blew our minds with a follow up call just to see how the Excursion was driving! I have had two transmission repairs done. The first went well and is still is. The second went well and then there was a problem which was fixed at no cost to me. I have been recommending the Davie shop to my neighbors for quite some time now and will continue to do so.

Hello everyone! I have a Ford Windstar that was giving me transmission problems. I called around a few shops but couldn't make up my mind what transmission shop to take it too. Then I was talking to my brother and he told me about Gold Coast and about how everyone he knows takes their cars there if they have transmission problems. So I call them and it was the best things I did. The guys there are professional and honest. They towed my van in for free and gave me a breakdown of what needed to be done, and gave me a more than fair price. This is the place to go. Other shops might quote you a low price at first, but once they have your car in the shop, all of a sudden the bill starts to grow and before you know it you walk away feeling taken and with a huge bill. Gold Coast Transmissions is the place to go if you want your car fixed right the first time. These guys are honest and they deliver. It's good knowing that there are still honest businesses here in town like Gold Coast Transmissions.
Mike is a great guy and helped me all the way my cars transmission died on me and I had no idea what I was going to do. My car was on the side of the road and they send a tow truck to pick it up. they took care of everything and helped me make the right decisions that would save me some money and get my car fixed right the first time.
My Cadillac CTS manual shift was jambing and would not go into 4th gear. Mike and his team gave an expert diagnosis.. The job ended up being more extensive than originally expected resulting in a full transmission rebuild but they went out of their way to locate parts that where out of production rather than bill me for expensive extra's. Another happy client. I would not hesitate to recommend Gold Coast for your repair work.
I called Gold Coast, told them my car broke down, they picked up my car, took it back to there shop,found out what the problem was,and then the next thing I knew was that my car was fixed in 2 days.Excellent service,Excellent staff, and most of all Excellent managers and repair cost!!!! The folks at Gold Coast Transpissions were of a great help. I was looking for a yoke shaft of a 1997 Ford F-350 and they were able to get it for me. Thanks Mike and crew. I'll be seeing you soon.
I've been taking all four of my cars to Gold Coast for over two years. They are friendly and fast; always go out of their way to explain what they are going to do and why; and they are priced very competitively. Owner is always there when I've visited which makes a big difference. Their waiting room is nicer than my house!
